Location: Valois Bay Nautical Center, 90 ch. du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road, Pointe-Claire H9S 4H5
Race Format: 10km (loops) in Valois Bay – start at 10:00 a.m. by waves – no portage
Age categories: 13-18, 19-50, and 51+ (minimum age is 13)
Registration fee: $40.00 (discount coupon available on the registration site)

Registration deadline: October 15, 2021, at midnight
MANDATORY: life jacket, proof of vaccination and ID

Cancelled. July 18, 2021 | Canoë Kayak Québec needs your help! Volunteers are essential to the success of any regatta. In these times of access restrictions to sites, many volunteer positions provide an excellent vantage point to see the races. If you are new to regattas, there are always lots of people happy to guide you through your volunteering experience. CKQ is hosting events over two weekends at the Olympic Basin (trials and provincials), and needs volunteers to help! Volunteers needed: boat drivers for officials; drivers for security boats; first aid; boat weighing station (trials); on-site security (social distancing, avoid gatherings); volunteers in the tower (announcer, video); and medals (provincials). CKQ will provide snacks, lunch and parking. These volunteers will be the only people with access to the site, as spectators will have to remain in the stands.
