West Island Dragons

West Island Dragons is a Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat team. We were formed in 2003 and have 31 members, ranging in age from 38 to 77. Our objective is to demonstrate active living after having received a diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. We feel this positive message will give hope to others who have been newly diagnosed, and their families.

We welcome new members year-round – all you need to qualify is to have had a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Please contact Donna at westislanddragons@live.com or 514-913-7675.

Tigerlillies

If you're looking to have fun this summer and be part of a women's competitive dragon boat team, then come join "The Tigerlillies". Our team was put together in 2008 and consists of women of different experience levels. We have a great team spirit and a good sense of unity. We practice twice a week with the objective to always improve on our technical skills, drills and timing in preparation for three or four festivals during the summer. The Power of Twenty

We are an enthusiastic women's dragon boat team which paddles with the objective of improving our skills and of enjoying two dynamic sessions on the water each week. We are enriched by the differences in both our range of ages and levels of experience, benefiting from the diversity that this mix provides. What we all share are the joys of working together on the water and of competing in three or four festivals a season.
